Junior SAP EWM Analyst

Howdens are looking for a Junior SAP EWM Analyst to join our busy IT team where you will manage and resolve service requests and system incidents so that the business can continue to conduct its system processes effectively.
A full-time and permanent position based at our office in Raunds, Northamptonshire with some home working.
This is a great opportunity for you to play a proactive role in incident and problem management within a knowledgeable SAP team as part of the UK’s Number one Trade Kitchen Supplier.
What will I be doing?
- Manage and resolve service requests and system incidents so that the business can continue to conduct its system processes effectively.
- Provide business systems training to ensure that the user community understands system processes and can execute them effectively.
- Produce appropriate system documentation for current and new systems processes, ensuring that documentation is up to date and clear.
- Test new solutions and system changes to ensure that the change meets the specified requirements.
- Support and configure the system to meet the requirements of the business and oversee the implementation of any associated software components.
- Analyse business requirements, make recommendations for change, and design effective solutions.
What we need from you
- Experience of SAP EWM operational processes and administration as a power user or in a testing capacity is required.
- Knowledge of SAP EWM configuration with an understanding of integration points with other modules such as MM, SD, and TM would be beneficial
- A good, all-round knowledge of IT with a deep knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes.
- An excellent communicator, who is self-motivated and exhibits a proactive approach to work.
- Focused and organised approach to work and can meet deadlines on complex projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Problem-solving skills and the aptitude to learn new processes.
- Experience with ALE/IDoc/EDI and debugging ABAP would be beneficial
- A willingness to learn new processes with a strong aptitude for problem solving is essential.
