Job Title: Site Manager (Environmental Water Treatment)

Future Build Recruitment are working with a Leading Environmental Contractor to recruit for a Site Manager to manage the completion of a Water Treatment Project in Oxford. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to environmental sustainability while leading impactful water treatment initiatives.

Project Details:

Construct the inlet and outlet of the proposed fish bypass channel - £400k value for this project.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Execution: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the water treatment project, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate labour, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet project milestones.
  • Budget Control: Monitor project costs, track expenses, and ensure adherence to the allocated budget.
  • Health and Safety: Implement safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven track record in managing construction projects, preferably in water treatment or environmental sectors.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate project teams.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with water treatment processes and equipment.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certifications: SMSTS needed for this role.
