Electronic Test Engineer

Bolton

12-month Contract

Paying up to £37p/h DOE (Umbrella)

ARM has partnered with a large Defence client who is looking for an experienced Electronic Test Engineer to be based out of their manufacturing site in Bolton. As the Electronic Test Engineer, you'll be responsible for the testing of complex electronic & electrical equipment.

Responsibilities:

• The production, testing, and diagnostics of complex weapons systems and Subsystems
• The testing of complex electronic & electrical equipment, and diagnosis of production test failures down to component level.
• Assessing any Test Equipment issues and directing support services to resolve equipment failure issues.
• Fault finding at subsystem down to component level.
• Be a Test Engineering representative at Defect Review Board meetings.

Experience required:

• Hold an HNC/HND in (Electronics) Level of Qualifications or equivalent.
• Have previous experience in digital & analog electronics manufacturing and testing.
• A good understanding of measurement and test principles.
• A good understanding of RF and microwave technology at the subsystem level is desirable
• Completed ESD Training - Desirable
