Expleo are keen to keen to speak with experienced individuals looking for an exciting new challenge! This will be a permanent role on behalf of our client a major Automotive Manufacturer based in Staffordshire.
Responsibilities of the Test Rig Technician will include:
- Commissioning and running of test rigs
- Investigate and diagnose electrical issues, using diagnostic equipment.
- Support Testing in static and dynamic conditions to gather accurate, timely, and quality test data/results.
- Analysis of faults to effectively report issues to relevant areas of production and engineering.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience required for the Test Rig Technician role:
- Fundamental understanding of vehicle dis-assembly, assembly, & maintenance techniques.
- Experience running test rigs.
- Vehicle system knowledge with the ability to fault find components and wiring.
- City & Guilds / BTEC / IMI Level 3 would be preferable within automotive engineering OR a recognised apprenticeship or qualification within a relevant field.
- Ability to read and understand detailed harness and schematic drawings.
