This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Electronics Engineer to join our globally recognised client who are a leading supplier of defense products. As a Junior Electronics Engineer you will be designing and implementing engineering solutions to support the production of electronic systems.

This role is ideal for someone with an interest to enter the world of electronic engineering and work with a diverse range of manufacturing departments to introduce new products, and in return our client is offering attractive benefits such as paid training, private healthcare, company pension, profit share scheme and more!

Duties for the Junior Electronics Engineer include:

• Support the engineering team in all aspects of manufacturing.
• Design, prototype and document new electronic sub systems and cable and internal harness solutions.
• Participate in new product introduction, documenting notes, reports and specifications along the process.
• Attending customer and supplier meetings, taking full grasp of customer requirements.
• Any other duties required.

The successful Junior Electronics Engineer will have / be:

• Higher level of education in a relevant subject, Electronic Engineering qualification is desirable.
• Experience within a manufacturing setting, soldering experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills both written and speaking.
• A positive attitude with the willingness to learn and develop.
• A team-based mindset.
