Newly Qualified Architect

Location: Chelmsford

Salary: £29000-£34000 (dependent on experience)

I am working with a RIBA chartered practice to find a Newly Qualified Architect to join a friendly team in Chelmsford. The practice work on residential, education, hospitality and commercial projects and provide services from project inception to completion. The well-established practice provides innovative, client led designs that exceed client expectations.

The successful Architect will have sufficient experience in a UK-based practice and will be confident completing planning applications. You will have great knowledge of current UK-based building regulations and should be confident presenting applications, designs and drawings to clients. AutoCAD, Sketchup and Photoshop proficiency is essential.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Newly Qualified Architect:

  • Sufficient experience in industry (can be as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant)
  • ARB registered
  • Confident working on planning applications, design and access statements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Present work to clients
  • Positive and proactive approach to work
  • Happy working independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient using AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe and Photoshop
  • Must live within commuting distance to Chelmsford
