The GlobalData Sales team operate at the face of our business introducing clients to our trusted strategic intelligence. With an established book of market leading brands and the scope to build from scratch there is a real opportunity for sales talent at all levels to learn and develop in our growing business.

The team is led by a strong management team who offer training, development and coaching that allows both early and experienced talent to progress in their career. The culture on the floor is buzzing and positive, and you can expect to be rewarded well with our uncapped commission scheme.

What you’ll be doing…

- Target fixation: a track record in achieving and surpassing targets.

- Effective time management through identifying, planning, and prioritising objectives.

- Ability to conduct comprehensive research to understand products, services & prospects through use of vehicles such as press and online new sources.

- Identifying potential sponsors by leveraging industry insights and staying informed about market trends and developments

- Maximise revenue from new and previous sponsors through building value throughout the sales process.

- Attend conferences to provide on-site services to sponsors including networking support and client entertainment.

- Maintain accurate client records and background information, demonstrating strong reporting skills.

- Adhere to and uphold the company’s core values of courage, curiosity and collaboration.

What we look for…

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator; analytical, articulate and a team player with a professional demeanour, they are driven by recognition, progression, and desire to excel in their roles:

- A proven track record of success within B2B Sales (sponsorship sales preferable)

- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior professionals to establish business relations. 

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent

- Strong sales experience with the ‘ability to close’.

- IT & CRM knowledge and ability to use Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

- Self-motivated & ambitious with a growth mindset
