Job Title: Project Manager - Water Projects

Location: Thames Valley Area

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000

Hours of Work: 40 per week

Type: Permanent, Full-time

Start Date: Immediate (flexible for notice periods)

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with experience in water projects or utility work to join our team in the Thames Valley region.

Duties of a Project Manager:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the management and successful delivery of complex projects or packages of projects within the Thames Water Framework.
• Monitoring the progress of offsite and onsite operations, ensuring they are within deadlines and budget limitations.
• Managing health and safety, design, customer relations, quality, environmental impact, programme, and cost/value during both pre-production and production phases.
• Cultivating a positive team culture and environment on projects to promote well-being and improve performance.

Skills and Experience of a Project Manager:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Experience in a project management role for water-based projects or similar projects.
• Knowledge of contract administration.
• Experience in both pre-production and production project management.
• A minimum of HNC qualification in a manufacturing or construction subject (desirable).

It would be advantageous if you also have:

• BIM/digital experience.
• Experience in a similar role for a tier 1 contractor.
• Excellent team leadership skills, with a focus on people management, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational capabilities.
