We are recruiting for a well established client based in the Warrington area. They have an exciting opportunity for a Project Support Coordinator to join a dynamic and innovative team. The main focus of the role is to effectively develop commercial solar PV projects, rooftop, ground mount and car port by supporting the commercial and operational team members in the delivery of projects within UK & Ireland.

The role will involve the development of Commercial Solar PV projects from the point of initial feasibility through to successful hand over to the operational project manager. This will require understanding of the project development process from tender submission, all relevant pre construction survey work, planning permissions, DNO submissions, procurement and contractual obligations.

The role reports into the Operations Manager and involves working closely with the customer, sub-contractors, professional teams and departments, the aim is to successfully deliver multiple Solar PV projects throughout the UK, Ireland and support the wider Group.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support cost control, mobilisation and procurement across a number of projects.
  • Working with contractors and suppliers to ensure correct specification and timely delivery of equipment
  • Supporting co-ordination of site surveys and feasibility studies.
  • Supporting DNO applications and follow up as required.
  • Procurement process and Supply chain management
  • Mobilisation of Projects and revision of scope of works
  • Project cost collation & cost control of projects with support from the Project Manager or Operations Manager
  • Working with the H&S Manager, sub-contractors and on-site contacts to ensure appropriate measures are put in place to support health and safety requirements.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  • Past experience in a similar role, specifically supporting solar projects.
  • Ability to identify and create automated process improvement opportunities
  • Project Coordination Experience
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Process management skills
  • Excellent MS Office skills

Hours of work and salary:

Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm & Friday 8am – 2pm ( with some flexibility )

Hours – Flexible hybrid, 3 days office 2 days home working if required.

Salary - £30-40K plus bonus based on experience
