Are you looking for an exciting challenge as a skilled and experienced Solicitor in property and conveyancing? Ready to make a huge impact to Broadacres and our customers?
We're looking for a talented individual to lead our dynamic legal services team at Broadacres to deliver expert legal advice, ensuring exceptional customer experience within property and housing law?
The Role
As our Solicitor, you will focus on property and housing law, litigation and conveyancing. You and your skilled team will provide invaluable expert advice to our internal teams while collaborating with a diverse network of external providers.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Legal Management: Collaborating with Broadacres' Panel Solicitors to ensure top-notch, cost-effective legal services.
- Property Transactions: Handling conveyancing, land and property purchases for future development, shared equity, and various sales.
- Comprehensive Legal Advisory: Tackling a wide range of legal issues, from land acquisitions and property development to anti-social behaviour, seeking external advice when necessary.
- Court Representation: Advocating for Broadacres in County Court or other relevant legal forums.
- Team Leadership: Managing and mentoring our Trainee Legal Executive and Paralegal.
- Record Management: Overseeing the documentation and records of land ownership and deeds within Broadacres.
Who We're Looking For:
- Experienced Professional: Significant experience in landlord and tenant matters within a social housing context, including handling anti-social behaviour injunctions and possession proceedings.
- Communications Expert: Excellent drafting skills for contracts and witness statements.
- Strategic Thinker: Capable of assessing legal issues and directing Broadacres panel solicitors.
- Knowledgeable Advisor: Strong working knowledge of social housing law and regulatory environments.
- Flexible & Adaptable: Able to navigate and resolve various legal matters with ease.
- Qualified Solicitor: A minimum of 3 years PQE.
