We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor, to join the team at our Engineering client, based in Nottinghamshire.

They are a well-established and market leading engineering contractor, with strong links to the water and nuclear industries.

This role for Electrical Supervisor  is field based and will cover the East Midlands and surrounding regions.

This is a permanent vacancy for Electrical Supervisor.  You will be a direct employee, from day one.

The Role – Electrical Supervisor

As an Electrical Supervisor you will be responsible for carrying out Electrical works on various sites as instructed by the Project Manager. 

• General Electrical duties. Install, Test, Maintain and examination of all current carrying equipment up to 1000v ac, 1200v dc.
• Work on HV systems to 11000v
• Installation of Electrical equipment such as MCC panels, motors, control equipment
• Selection and erection of cable handling systems
• Fault finding on Electrical equipment
• May be required to assist Mechanical or Civils engineering staff 

The Candidate-YOU!

Must have:

• Electrical apprenticeship, level 3 Electrical qualification or 18th Edition
• Confined Space training (Current)
• CSCS JIB Card holder
• Supervisory experience 

Desirable:

• First Aid quals
• Health and Safety trained (IOSH or NEBOSH)
• HV Qualified, assessed and trained
• SMSTS qualified
• Have a proven background in the water industry, or gas/oil
• 2391 Test and Inspection
