TeacherActive is excited to publish a great opportunity at an excellent secondary school in Huddersfield. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology teacher to join our team, starting in September 2024.

As a Food Technology teacher, you will play a crucial role in inspiring students to explore the art and science of cooking. Your passion for food and commitment to education will help shape the culinary skills and knowledge of our young learners, preparing them for a future of healthy and informed food choices.

This is a full-time role in which you will be expected to deliver well-planned lessons and have a strong behaviour management style. The school’s vision is to develop well-rounded students through a balanced curriculum and requires a dynamic teacher who can think on their feet and tailor their lessons to the needs of the pupils.

What we need:

• Qualified teacher status
• 6 months UK education experience or experience in the field of food technology
• DBS checks will be required
• A great attitude and willingness to develop in a well established teaching team dynamic.
