Direct Production Buyer – 7 months – Gaydon
£31 per hour Umbrella
Reporting to the global commodity leader the Buyer will have global responsibility for specific commodities.
Duties are to lead and develop of the supplier and internal stakeholders relationships to ensure strategic and programme alignment, manager suppliers within designated commodities, supplier business reviews, support and work closely with Regional delivery teams to engage with specialists within the purchasing function as required to ensure optimum value creation and deliver, interface with other key functions and act as core conduit for true cross functional working across direct procurement.
Candidates will be degree qualified or similar experience within Procurement, work in a fast paced environment, able to deliver operational plans in a complex, highly demanding environment, proven track record with an experience of working in Agile and experience of working in a global multi-cultural environment.
