Job Title: LEV Installation Engineer.
Location: Leicester, East Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £30k - £45k + Training + Overtime + Company van.

A professional and leading provider of LEV services for predominantly Educational and Industrial sites, are now seeking to take on a LEV Installation Engineer to cover contracts in the Midlands region. The successful candidate will have experience carrying out the installation, commissioning, servicing, and repairs of fume cupboards and laminar flow cabinets. You will also be responsible for carrying out LEV testing, and onsite risk assessments, ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines. The successful candidate will ideally have an electrical bias, holding the 16th / 17th electrical edition. Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have experience working for an established provider of LEV services.
" Will hold the BOHS P601 qualification.
" Holding the NVQ in electrical / mechanical engineering or equivalent would be beneficial to the role.
" Will hold the 16th / 17th electrical edition.
" Excellent IT skills.
" Well versed in relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
" Able to work well independently.
" Excellent organisational skills.
The Role:
" Carrying out installation, commissioning, servicing and repairs of fume cupboards and laminar flow cabinets.
" Carrying out installation of new equipment, including PVC / polypropylene ducting and welding.
" Installing dust, fume, and oil mist extraction systems.
" Undertaking scheduled preventative and reactive maintenance on class 1 & 2 safety cabinets.
" Carrying out LEV installation and testing.
" Carrying out onsite risk assessments.
" Liaising with clients and providing training upon completion of the installation.
" Accurately calibrating, validating, commissioning, and modifying systems.
" Producing detailed and comprehensive reports based on site findings, ensuring that they are returned to clients in a timely manner.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with manufacturing and company standards.
" Carrying out work in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
