The Company

Our client, is a successful operator in the hazardous and industrial sector, providing specialist services to the waste, power and heavy industry sectors.  We are looking for a Business Development Manager to develop our South West region.

The Role

  • As BDM you will develop and generate sales in the industrial waste services sector.
  • As our Business Development Manager you will develop and secure new business across the South West.
  • As our Business Development  professional you will develop and build strong relationships to secure repeat business opportunities.
  • You will maintain knowledge and awareness of market trends, customer trends, and the competitive environment.
  • As BDM you will have autonomy for planning and managing your client base, ensuring regular face to face customer visits.
  • Working on behalf and representing  a corporate organisation you will be providing a full industrial services environmental solution.

The Ideal Candidate

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Business Development Manager across new business generation and account development.
  • Ideally you will have experience from the industrial waste services sector, or waste management, drainage, sewage or environmental services sector.
  • Working on behalf of a corporate organisation you will have exemplary presentation skills.
  • This role requires a candidate who is decisive with strong negotiating and influencing skills.
  • You will be an excellent relationship builder, with clients and internal colleagues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills required.
