As we embark on the new academic year, we are seeking a highly organized and proactive Cover Manager to join our dedicated team.

As a Cover Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school by managing daily cover arrangements for staff absences. This involves coordinating with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to secure appropriate cover and maintain continuity in the learning experience for our students.

• Daily Cover Management: Arrange and oversee daily cover for teacher absences, ensuring minimal disruption to the school day.
• Coordination: Work closely with teaching and support staff to identify cover needs and allocate suitable replacements.
• Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including staff, external agencies, and senior leadership.
• Administrative Tasks: Manage cover records, prepare reports, and update relevant databases.
• Emergency Planning: Develop and implement contingency plans for unexpected absences or other staffing emergencies.

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• IT Proficiency: Competent in using various computer systems and software for administrative tasks.
• Adaptability: Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing situations quickly.
