We need a Mild Steel MIG welder for a company based in Springhill, Moreton-In-Marsh, Gloucestershire. You will join our busy production team for a manufacturer of diesel fuel storage tanks and fuel management systems.
Hourly rate, 40hrs per week £15 to £18 depending on experience
Overtime paid after 45 hours per week, x1.5. based on contracts secured, but anywhere between 5 and 15 hrs per week, Experience required MIG, TIG an advantage
Skill set required
Use of a MIG welder to produce fabricated oil tanks and associated products.
Ability to weld vertical, flat and overhead welds with good penetration and quality.
Maintain/produce a level of output that will maximise production.
Good understanding of engineering drawings and cut lists.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Use of overhead gantry crane and forklift –Full training given to right candidate.
Ability to operate various tools.
Willingness to work overtime as required.
