Fire Project Engineer

V7 are currently looking for Project Engineers on a contract basis for an exciting national fire project in the UK covering 150 sites nationwide. In this role, you will be responsible for the management of subcontractors, maintaining documentation and commissioning and swapping of fire alarm panels. This contract position will give you the opportunity to work for one of the leading industry specialists in the fire and security space.

Job Details

  • Commissioning of fire alarms - Gent.
  • Knowledge of Gent, Honeywell, Vigilon panels.
  • To undertake the management of fire systems installations.
  • Undertake commissioning of systems when required.
  • To develop and manage site-specific method statements and risk assessments where necessary and ensure that Health and Safety requirements are upheld..
  • Liaise with customers and contractors at a local/site level.
  • Ensure that systems are properly tested and commissioned and assist in the production of O&M documentation.

Requirements

  • Technical knowledge of fire panels and commissioning of fire alarms
  • Prepared to work nights Mon - Thu.
  • Must be able to pass BS7858 screening.
  • Clean full UK driving license, with no more than 6 points.
  • Enhanced DBS.
