Our client based in Leighton Buzzard are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join their team, this a permanent role, to qualify for this role you must have previous Procurement Management (5 years) experience from a Manufacturing/Production environment, have excellent work ethics, and pride yourself with attention to detail, be reliable and hardworking.  SAP would be a distinct advantage.  Very fast paced environment – spinning many plates.

• Forecasting levels to meet the customer orders.
• Conduct research to source products.
• Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams.
• Develop strategies to meet and exceed cost savings and supplier performance.
• Analyse data and produce reports highlighting spend and savings.
• Review new and existing suppliers to ensure quality, service and cost are within KPI’s agreed.
• On-board new suppliers, assess and arrange meetings accordingly.
• Maintain and improve supplier relationships.
• Provide updates to the Supply Chain Manager.
