The Company

Our client is a successful developer, investor and operator in commercial renewable energy projects.  Due to their success and growth they are looking for a Project Office Assistant to support the project team. 
This is an office based role and is an opportunity that could suit part time hours.

The Role

As Project Office Assistant you will provide administrative and organisational support across the overall project life cycle of renewable energy projects, this will include;

    • Administrative support to update project plans and budgets.
    • Updating the project team on project delivery timescales highlighting approaching deadlines and providing support where necessary.
    • Assisting with the management of project data rooms, ensuring each project’s documentation is recorded and filed correctly.
    • Assisting the  Project Team in assessment of new site potentials through provision of Desktop Assessments (DTAs)
    • Assist with planning application response through maintenance of in-house database of project specific planning responses
    • Supporting the organisation and coordination of material for Public Consultations.
    • Provide administrative support to Project Managers across a variety of project support work.

The Successful Candidate

  • The successful candidate will ideally have experience working in a support role in a project office environment.
  • You will have excellent IT knowledge across MS Office skills (excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Planner)
  • It would be advantageous to have knowledge of MS Project.
  • You will have strong organisational skills and will be detail-oriented.
  • This is a varied role which requires a bright and capable individual used to supporting across a varied work stream ideally of environmental/scientific projects.
  • This role requires the individual to be able to work both independently and with cross-functional teams.
  • You will have the ability to be flexible, a good multitasker and able to prioritise.
  • The successful candidate will have an excellent communication style both verbally and written with the ability to build relationships positively across our team and with our clients, suppliers and partners.
  • Ideally a full UK Driving Licence
