Electronic Engineer

Salary/Rate:
£50,000 - £60,000/annum

We are currently working closely with a leading robotics company within Cambridge who are looking to add an Electronics Engineer to the team. This is a full-time permanent position with hybrid working. International travel may be required.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Take ownership for prototype development and testing.
  • Collaborate with internal mechanical and software engineering teams current and new designs are integrated correctly for manufacturing purposes.
  • Lead on debugging any issues at PCB and system level and document any findings.
  • Work with manufacturing partners to maintain designs which can be reliably tested and repeated.
  • Lead on the design of PCB systems and guide the PCB layout processes.

The Successful candidate will have:

  • Electrical/Electronics Engineering Degree BSc / BEng / HND qualification or relevant experience.
  • 3+ years experience within PCB and electronics/electrical environments.
  • Experience with robot operating systems and control systems.
  • Knowledge and of embedded systems and FPGAs.
  • Exceptional communicational and organisational skills.
  • Experience with stakeholder management at multiple levels.
  • Experience with power supply design.
