Specialists in providing engineered above ground drainage and water supply systems, Polypipe Building Services leverages offsite fabrication to design and deliver solutions to mechanical and public health engineers, M&E contractors as well as local authorities. Polypipe Building Services houses well-known industry brand Terrain and has been delivering systems to commercial, high rise residential, healthcare, education and leisure projects for over 50 years.

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Experience Specialist who will be responsible for delivering a smooth, seamless customer experience every time and at all stages of the customer’s journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order processing, planning and scheduling to Effast markets in a timely manner, adhering to daily deadlines

  • Ensuring all orders are processed in a timely manner following the customer’s journey from order input to delivery

  • Ensure dispatch of orders achieve scheduled dispatch dates, proactively chasing any back orders and feeding back to customer

  • Respond to customer enquiries and ensure all queries are resolved in a timely manner, providing proactive customer updates

  • Regular contact with every customer to forge relationships, provide support and strengthen bonds

  • Communicating with internal and external customers at all levels

  • Management of all customer accounts for Effast, investigating monthly query lists for key accounts

  • Full support to the external Sales team

  • Provide training to Cross Functional roles where necessary

  • Provide ad-hoc support to the UK Customer Experience Manager and Internal Sales & Business Development manager as requested

Skills & Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of IFS and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Understanding of the supply chain process.

  • Effective liaison with other departments of the business at all levels.

  • Ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines.

  • Work effectively as a team as well as individually.

  • Have a passion for customer service and work well with others to provide the best we can.

  • Monday - Friday flexi start/finish of 8:00/9:00am until 4:30/5:30pm. Fridays are 8:30am until 3:00pm
