As a result of our clients expansion plans, and continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Mid-Level Software Developer to be based in Plymouth office.

As a Software Developer you can expect to be involved in the following:

• Take part in AGILE process activities as a software developer in the team.
• Participate in software development activities, including analysis of input technical specification, software design, development, testing and maintenance.
• Where required, support current software build.
• Support external teams in understanding, using and testing the produce.
• Participate in or drive improvements to the product, tools and processes.
• Be able to mentor other team members and introduce them to new methodologies and technologies.

You will be able to demonstrate the following;
 

• Experience in designing distributed software architectures in C#.Net, ASP.Net (preferably web forms, but MVC or .Net Core beneficial).
• Experience of modern development methodologies.
  - Excellent understanding of database solutions (T-SQL, PL/SQL or MYSQL).
• Experience producing and interacting with RESTful APIs.
• A background in software development or equivalent.
• Knowledge of JavaScript (any industry recognized library)
• A good understanding of AGILE methodologies
• Ability to work within a transversal team

• Degree level education in Computing or equivalent experience.
• Experienced in software continuous delivery of high-quality releases
• Experience working in an Agile and DevOps environment, within a self-organised team.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:45am – 17:30pm. Based in the head office in Plymouth, some hybrid working once passed probation.
