Aqua-Tech Recruitment are currenly working with one of our clients who are looking is looking for a dynamic and energetic Business Development Manager to join their growing team.

The successful candidate must be driven, highly motivated and well organised to meet and exceed client expectations resulting in growing existing accounts, whilst securing new clients.

Its is essential for the candidate to have extensive Business 2 Business experience.

Job Description:

The BDM (Business Development Manager) is key to the client service focus maintaining and growing client relationships, sales, and brand recognition, with a focus on sales growth and maximising profitability across all income streams.

Operating within a fast paced sales environment you must be able to take ownership by making profit focused decision making contributing to and exceeding Business Targets.

· Meet with clients on a planned and scheduled basis on a F2F basis to maintain and growth relationships.

· Directly responsible for managing the client service management for Tier 1, 2 and 3 clients, supported by the sales team and sales executives.

· Responsible for outbound (proactive) client enquiries and new business generation and carrying out telephone calls and face to face meetings with current and new clients.

· Responsible for overseeing inbound client enquiries (bookings) and outbound sales commissions (sales) managing the sales executives and marketing staff.

· Manage company sales pipeline via Zoho CRM platform to generate leads, track opportunities and completed sales on a continual basis.

· Accountable for the full client service and sales processes (end to end approach) from securing the business, to completion of the training services and follow up with the clients.

· Monitor, measure, and manage the Sales Team to ensure the best level of service is provided for our clients, taking the leading role to ensure processes are followed and client service management runs at the core of daily operations.

· Work closely with other Department Managers and Senior Management Team to implement Sales & Marketing Strategies to proactively secure new business.

· Track & report daily, weekly and monthly sales performance statistics against Business KPI’s and targets using Zoho CRM platform.

· Plan and attend client meetings, trade shows and other such events.

· Maintain databases, client account information, Zoho CRM in line with companies ISO quality management processes and procedures.

· Effectively manage client relationships to ensure matters raised are dealt with in a timely manner as part of our client service model.

· Assist with producing and submitting client contract bids, PQQ’s and Tenders to maintain sustained company growth.

· Contribute to company profitability and performance targets.

· Contribute to and achieve individual targets and KPIs as part of our Performance Management Process.

· Carry out all reasonable tasks as instructed by line manager.

Knowledge and Experience:

· Must have a minimum of 5 Years Sales experience on a Business 2 Business basis and 3 Years experience managing a team

· Proficient in Microsoft Office365

· Knowledge of CRM systems

· Client service focused, with a positive & can do attitude

· Adaptability / Flexibility to prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines

· Ability to work from own initiative

· Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills

· Extremely well-organised

· Excellent time management

· High attention to detail
