Parts Warehouse Operative  

Basic £28k - £30k, OTE £30k - £32k

Permanent / Full Time

Monday to Friday (6am – 4pm) Saturdays on a rota (7am – 11am / 8am – 12pm)  

Our client, located in Aylesford, is on the lookout for a Parts Warehouse Operative to join their team.

In this role, you’ll be reporting to the Parts Manager and will be responsible for the smooth operation of the goods inwards. Warehouse experience is beneficial!

Duties: 

• Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods.
• General warehouse duties.
• Inventory checks twice yearly, identifying any missing, lost or damaged items.
• Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are understood and practiced by the team at all times.
• Organise, facilitate and manage stock takes at regular intervals.
• Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets customers timescales/requirements.
• Identify errors and eliminate root cause using robust countermeasures.
• Sustain the corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues.

Your Background & Skill: 

• Proven experience as a Goods-In / Dispatch Supervisor OR Warehouse Shift Supervisor would be advantageous.
• Must have a forklift licence.
• Good IT knowledge, able to pick up computer software easily (excel etc).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work towards deadlines.
• Committed to delivering excellent customer service.
• Confident and professional.
