Salary Starting at £33,000 - £35,000 DOE with the ability to reach £40,000

Permanent full time Monday to Friday

Job description

Our client is looking for an experienced Fitter Welder, our ideal candidate will have experience working on heavy goods vehicles, agricultural vehicles or bespoke vehicles! This role will involve welding both stainless and carbon steel of a variety of thicknesses and fitting key components to our vehicles. 

Main role responsibilities:

Working in the main production area, building products

Working on pipe welding in both Mid and Stainless Steel

Fabrication and Chassis fitting

Adhering and working to Health and Safety regulations

Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area

We are looking for someone with:

A background working in a production environment particularly body building

Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic

Welding experience in both Mid and Stainless Steal 

Experience in both light and heavy gauge welding 

Fabrication and fitting skills 

Has the ability to work under pressure and is mechanically minded

A forklift truck and overhead crane licence would be beneficial
