Kind Support is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Registered Manager to join the team at a Children's Residential Care Home in Birmingham as a Registered Manager.

A leading provider of children's residential care, dedicated to offering a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. Our homes in South Birmingham provide high-quality care tailored to meet the unique needs of each child.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to oversee two of our homes, with the potential to support a third home in the future. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of a 3-bedded and a 2-bedded EBD home.
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and maintain high standards of care.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of care staff, promoting professional development and best practices.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Engage with external agencies, families, and the community to support the wellbeing of the children.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care, implementing improvements as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a children's residential care setting.
  • Strong understanding of EBD and the challenges faced by children in care.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and adapt to new challenges.
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (Level 5 Diploma or equivalent).
