The Administrator will serve as a trusted partner within the Central Vetting team, providing first-class administrative support and ensuring the highest standards of employee vetting.

This role is a 12-month FTC.

Job Description

As Administrator, you will maintain strong and visible contact with stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and representing the function through exemplary customer service.

In this role, you will complete tasks efficiently and with a high level of accuracy, adhering to internal governance and statutory requirements.

Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards will be crucial in supporting our vetting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process new starter vetting and customer compliance to high standards and in a timely manner
  • Maintain vetting databases for new and existing employees, ensuring compliance with customer and ISS standards
  • Monitor vetting renewals based on customer requirements
  • Maintain employee personnel files
  • Process DBS, IID, and licensing applications accurately, managing the online application portal
  • Manage access to the Experian Right To Work app and portal, ensuring correct RTW documentation and monitoring 'time-limited' RTW
  • Manage vetting and right to work inboxes, efficiently processing queries
  • Provide support and training to managers, delivering accurate and up-to-date information in line with UK guidelines and ISS vetting standards

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • A passion and demonstrable skill for first class, professional customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy
  • IT proficient (including Excel and PowerPoint); confident handling and working with data
  • Ability to organise and prioritise a workload to meet deadlines
  • Flexible and adaptable approach, enabling full support to the team
  • Awareness of UK Right To Work requirements
  • Awareness of GDPR and Data Subject Access Requests
  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships within the team and internal stakeholders
