A dynamic subcontract manufacturing company is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join their team in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual to contribute to a busy production environment.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for the programming, setting, and operation of CNC lathes and machining centres, producing high-quality components to customer specifications.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Programming CNC lathes and machining centres using Fanuc controls and SolidWorks/SolidCam software
  • Setting up and operating CNC machines to achieve optimal performance
  • Producing prototypes and small production runs
  • Conducting self-inspection of components to ensure quality standards
  • Collaborating with the team to meet customer deadlines
  • Adhering to AS9100D:2016 QMS requirements

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need proven experience as a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator in a precision manufacturing environment. A strong understanding of CAD/CAM software and the ability to interpret engineering drawings are essential.

You should be a problem-solver with a focus on quality and efficiency. Experience in small batch work and handling complex parts would be advantageous.

The Package:

In return for your skills and experience, you will receive a competitive salary of £30-£40K per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience.
