We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of projects, ensuring the safety and compliance of fire alarm systems.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, service and commission fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular testing and inspection of fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in fire alarm systems and undertake necessary repairs.
  • Complete detailed service reports and documentation for each project.
  • Provide technical support and advice to clients regarding fire alarm systems.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest safety standards and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Stay up to date with the latest fire safety regulations, technologies, and best practices.
  • Participate in an on-call rota 1 in 14 for emergency call-outs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer, with a strong understanding of fire alarm systems and their components.
  • Relevant qualifications in fire alarm engineering or electrical engineering.
  • Knowledge of BS 5839 and other relevant fire safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of work.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to various sites.
  • CSCS card is advantageous.
