Are you a SHEQ Advisor looking to be part of a major sub-contractor based in Worsley?
Its a new opportunity for a Health & Safety Advisor to really test themselves and find out what they really can do working on a project that excites them. It’s also a chance to really develop themselves with one of the most UKs respected and leading sub-contractors on a permanent basis earning between £40,000 - £50,000 per year + package/benefits.
The Role
You will play a pivotal role in developing, promoting and ensuring the highest standards of Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality are achieved, maintained and improved upon. You will provide expert advice, support, and guidance across all departments & sites within the group
- H&S qualification e.g. NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) preferably level 5/6 qualification (NEBOSH Diploma/NVQ Level 5/6 In Occupational Health & Safety Practice or equivalent) or working towards this
- At least 5 years’ experience as a full time SHEQ Professional
- Chartered Member of IOSH - or working towards this
- MIIRSM Member – or working towards this
- Demonstrable C.P.D. record
- Temporary Works Co-Ordinator – highly desirable
- Temporary works awareness (CITB or TWf Forums) required
- Management of lifting operations – highly desirable
- Relevant CSCS card
- Experience of having worked in the Utilities and or Construction/Housebuilding sectors (required)
Salary & Package on offer:
- Base £40,000 - £50,000
- Car allowance & mileage
