A technology skills consultancy has grown hugely the past 3 years to 70 people, following being acquired by a £100m group in 2021. The firm specialises in technology training for banks, FS businesses and wider industry with specialist training courses and programmes across AI, cloud computing, design thinking, software development and more. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a firm right at the forefront of upskilling workforces with the technology / data skills for the future, assessing their current business model and workforce planning issues. 

The firm has built a reputation in the FS / banking space, already working with many major investment banks and FS businesses such as Baclays, Citi and Morgan Stanley. 

With the average project to clients around 200-400K in value, these are longer sales cycles and more consultative selling, building trusted relationships with COOs, Heads of Technology, Heads of Trading and Heads of Finance in top banking businesses. The firm also sells specialist leadership training courses and further online training programmes. 

The Head of Business Development has a track record of developing business with every major bank in the city and offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow with the company. 

We are looking for a Business Development / New Sales Manager to:

1. Drive new business/sales into large enterprise accounts 

2. Take a structured and smart approach to account planning and new business development 

3. Ideally navigate and manage a large banking business both horizontally and vertically, driving new sales

4. Have a hunger and will to succeed, though supportive and empathetic to the different needs of clients

This would suit someone from a professional services background and/or someone who has had success driving sales in a smaller business/less structured environment.

Hybrid working mode, 2/3 days in Central London and the rest from home.
