Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
Candidate must have a driving license, as you will be required to travel to the Northallerton branch occasionally.

About the Role
The Insurance Advisor plays a crucial role in the success of the expanding local business, ensuring smooth office operations and high customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

  • Initially you will provide sales and service for personal lines customers converting quotes into new and additional business. As you gain more experience we will train you in our Commercial licenses so you can assist our business customers.?
  • Review customer policies and help retain business?
  • Process all customer instructions for policy amendments?
  • Record and manage customer leads using our CRM system, Microsoft Dynamics?
  • Identify and initiate cross-selling opportunities?
  • Initiate proactive sales activity to create new business opportunities for the Company
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of their Insurance products, as applicable to product?licences?
  • Spot opportunities to introduce customers to our Financial Adviser?  

Candidate Profile

  • Professionalism and Work Ethic: A hardworking individual with attention to detail and a positive attitude.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Confident and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competence with Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability to company systems.
  • Educational Background: Minimum of 5 GCSE passes (grade 4 or C above, including Maths and English). Two A-level passes or relevant insurance industry is desirable but not essential.
