Quality Manager 

Salary: £60K-£70K + Bonus & Market leading benefits package

Company Description:

A leading manufacturer of safety critical components is looking to recruit an experienced Head of Quality to join their team.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day Quality Assurance activities, identify & report key risks and manage mitigation activities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a small team of Quality Inspectors / Technicians
• Create and deliver a strategic plan for Quality Assurance
• Manage the internal Quality Management System to ensure both customer and legal requirements are always met
• Implement a Continuous Improvement / LEAN culture
• Implement root cause and corrective actions into the Quality function and provide training & coaching to ensure the process is always followed correctly.
• Supplier development and management

Skills and Experience:

• Experience of managing a team and associated development
• Comprehensive knowledge of AS9100 & Part21G
• Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action implementation
• Proven experience and knowledge of LEAN/Six-Sigma
• Able and prepared to travel nationally & internationally for customer and supplier visits
