EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a CNC Turner / CNC Setter-Operator to join a precision engineering company located in Tamworth working on a permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

The business is a leading specialist in manufacturing complex, safety-critical components for a number of high profile markets.

Due to continued success and further growth, our client requires additional support within their machining department.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Using various CNC Turning machines
• Setting / Operating machines 
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Self inspecting parts using manual measuring equipment 
• Testing yours skills on challenging and intricate parts

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

• Minimum 1 year CNC machining experience
• Ability to set / operate CNC Machines 
• CNC Turning experience ideal but training will be provided 
• Experience working with Fanuc, Mazatrol, Siemens and /or Heidenhain control panels
• Minimum 1 year machining complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas etc
• Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
