Technical Support Engineer

Inspire Resourcing Ltd are recruiting for a Technical Support Engineer to work for this highly reputable engineering company whose head office is located in the heart of Chesterfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for those with plant/machinery fitting experience who want to become a Technical Support Engineer or for those who already have experience of being a Technical Support Engineer

Duties to include: -

• Assisting with technical training of outside engineers.
• Preparation and installing of options
• Field based work could be anywhere in the UK, assisting customers with breakdowns, scheduled maintenance.
• Preparation, servicing and repair of used machines for sale.
• Workshop based and with occasional field-based servicing and repair of customers machines.

To apply for the role of Technical Support Engineer you will ideally:

• Experienced plant & machinery technician/engineer
• Multi-skilled and able to demonstrate core skills in Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electric repair, fault finding and installation.
• A good knowledge of modern industrial diesel engines, DPF and ECU is preferable.
• Good knowledge of IT.
• Ability to work alone, as well as within a small team.
• Good customer service skills both on the phone and in person.
• Full clean driving licence.

Salary - £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.

Working hours – Monday to Friday.

Location – Chesterfield.
