Arch Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller for a Manufacturing company based in Coventry. This position with involve working within a small finance team and supporting the Finance Director.

Role responsibilities –

• For the role of Financial Controller, you will manage and lead a small team on a day-to-day basis, providing support and training where needed.
• Prepare management accounts to a high standard and to strict internal reporting deadlines.
• Experienced in statutory accounts preparation and group consolidations is required for the Financial Controller role.
• Assist in the preparation of weekly CFM.
• Ensure compliance with VAT and Corporation Tax requirements.
• Prepare and file group VAT return is required for the Financial Controller role.
• Assist the FD in financial planning and forecasting.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Be responsible for credit control and cash collection.
• Manage and process both weekly and monthly payrolls – liaising with external providers,
• Be the main point of contact for external auditors,
• Other ad-hoc duties to assist the FD.

Role requirements –

• Advanced Excel / IT skills are required for the financial Controller role.
• Organised and Diligent
• Reliable and punctual
• For the financial Controller role, you will be ACA/ACCA qualified
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is desirable but not essential
