Safety Engineer

Salary/Rate:
£40,000 - £50,000/annum

A leading manufacturing business are currently looking for a Safety Engineer to join their growing team. Working closely with wider electronic, software and systems engineering teams to ensure safety processes are continually reviewed and optimised. This is a full-time permanent position with hybrid working.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Support with continually reviewing safety processes and perform hazard analysis.
  • Support with integrating findings into wider engineering processes.
  • Provide reports based upon findings from safety reports and failure analysis reports.
  • Work closely with wider engineering teams to support with system integrations.
  • Maintain and develop safety process.

The Successful candidate will have:

  • Engineering Degree BSc / BEng / HND qualification or relevant experience.
  • Experience with safety reporting, hazard analysis and FTA.
  • Experience working with electronic and software/system engineers.
  • Excellent communicational and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise your own workload.
  • Experience presenting reports and findings to senior management teams.
  • Experienced with cost analysis.
