Design Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Design Engineer to join our team As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in designing developing our systems from sales order through to manufacture. You will work closely with our clients and the sales team to ensure the efficient management and delivery of design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design detailed systems using Solidworks and AutoCAD.
- Liaising with third party suppliers obtaining quotations.
- Liaise with our procurement team to ensure efficient purchasing of items necessary for system builds.
- Produce general arrangement and detail drawings for shopfloor manufacture.
- Create concept drawings and models for our sales team for presentation to client.
- Be actively involved in maintaining our ISO9001 accreditation.
- Liaising with clients on system design through to drawing approval for manufacture.
- Occasional site UK site visits for client meetings or site surveys.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Solidworks and AutoCAD.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Degree / HND / HNC / BTEC in an appropriate engineering discipline.
