We are working with a reputable client based in Bletchley who require a professional Cabinet Maker.
The position is a permanent role paying up to £41.5K per annum + Benefits.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday - 7.00am - 5.00pm.
Overtime Pay - Time and a third Monday - Friday and time a half on Saturday.
The ideal candidate will have experience in working within a manufacturing environment. The right candidate will also have good knowledge of joinery manufacturing techniques, common materials, components,
and construction methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working from 2D AutoCAD drawings to prepare and manufacture various bespoke furniture to drawing specifications.
- Coordinate with CNC operators on a regular basis.
- Fabricate, renovate, and repair joinery and traditional furniture.
- Assemble furniture, including bespoke joinery.
- Prepare, sand and finish products to a high standard, including laminate and veneer.
Key Requirements:
- Must be able to read 2D Auto CAD technical joinery drawings.
- Be able to operate woodwork machinery and use hand tools.
- Must have own electric and hand tools, including chisel, block plane & electric drill.
- CSCS Card (desirable but not essential)
