EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a CNC Operator/Setter to join a precision engineering company located in Tamworth, working on a permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Our client manufactures small to medium-sized complex precision components for high-profile customers within a wide range of market-leading companies. Due to substantial growth, we require a CNC Operator/Setter to join their existing talent team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating CNC machines - opportunity to learn set ups 
  • Using various CNC Milling and /or CNC Turning machines
  • Testing yours skills on challenging and intricate parts

 

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

  • Minimum 3 years CNC machining experience
  • Ability to operate CNC Machines (CNC Milling and/or CNC Turning)
  • Experience working with Siemens and /or Mazatrol control panels
  • Minimum 2 years machining parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas etc
  • Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
