Assembly Technician
Stanstead Abbotts
Contract: £15 - £17 per hour
We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician responsible for assembling parts and components to build mechanical or electrical products. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, assembling parts and components with precision, and conducting thorough testing of completed assemblies. Reporting any faults and ensuring that all products meet stringent quality and safety standards are crucial aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble components according to technical drawings.
- Test completed assemblies to ensure proper operation.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Identify, replace, and repair defective components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in assemblies.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM
