Up to c£80,000, plus company package
Are you currently working as Electrical Design Engineer in London, and looking for your next steps?
We have partnered up with a longstanding client at Kenton Black who are going through a sustained period of growth and are looking to bolster their Design Engineering Team by bring on a Electrical Design Engineer or an Electrical Safety Engineer.
My client is a leading M&E and Telecoms contractor within the civil engineering and rail sector working on many major projects across London and the Midlands.
This role will be working on various major packages of works across London on some of the largest civil engineering schemes in the area. The business has a very strong orderbook for the next 18-24 months with further growth predicted as well as genuine career opportunities.
Role Purpose:
• Implementation and auditing of VVB’s Electrical Safety Rules
• Oversight of Senior Authorised Persons and Authorised Persons
• Planning and conducting monthly electrical safety audits
• Ensuring compliance with electrical safety regulations and industry standards
• Managing electrical safety records and audit schedules
• Coordinating investigations of electrical incidents
• Facilitating HV and LV training sessions
• Recommending specialist PPE and overseeing its use
• Developing and delivering training packages
• Promoting a culture of openness, trust, and innovation
• Assisting with subcontractor reviews
On offer is a very lucrative salary and package as well the opportunity to join a very reputable contractor. This role is paying up to £80,000 plus company package.
