Specialist Drug & Alcohol Support Worker (Domestic Abuse) - Female Only

Salary: £25,500 per year
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week - no evenings, weekends or sleep-ins!

This company is seeking a dedicated Specialist Drug & Alcohol Support Worker to join their team in Bath. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive needs and risk assessments for clients with multiple and complex needs.
  • Develop and implement holistic support plans, monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments.
  • Empower clients to live independently and safely, addressing issues related to domestic abuse, substance misuse, and mental health.
  • Foster professional relationships with service users and liaise with external agencies.
  • Refer clients to DHI for drug or alcohol treatment when appropriate.
  • Adapt to changing business needs and work flexibly as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (business insurance required for work-related travel).
  • In-depth understanding of domestic violence and its impact on survivors and their children.
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs, such as substance misuse or mental health issues.
  • Strong knowledge of recovery principles and addiction.
