LINKS Recruitment Group present a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to work within a well-established company who are continuously growing due to company success. You will be working within a team, carrying out PPM’s and maintenance on a range of production machinery.

The role:

• Preventive maintenance: Regularly inspecting machinery and systems to identify potential issues before they cause breakdowns.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical or hydraulic issues in equipment.
• Record-Keeping: Documenting maintenance activities, repairs and inspections to track equipment performance and plan future maintenance.
• Upgrades and improvements: Suggesting and implementing improvements to equipment or processes to increase efficiency or safety.
• Compliance: Ensuring that all equipment and maintenance procedures comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Training: Training operators or junior staff on proper equipment use and basic troubleshooting.

The Person:

• Technical proficiency: Deep knowledge of mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Problem-solving: Ability to diagnose and solve complex technical issues.
• Attention to Details: Careful in identifying potential problems and documenting maintenance activities.
• Communication: Clear communication with other engineers, operators and management.

Role: Permanent

Hours of work:

Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4.00pm

Friday                            7.30am – 2.30pm
