Location: Dinnington, South Yorkshire

Salary Scale: £95 to £110 per day
Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education South Yorkshire is currently recruiting for a dedicated Residential Support Worker for a well-established school in Dinnington. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting the holistic development of children and young people, particularly those with additional needs.

Job Summary:
The Residential Support Worker will play a crucial role in providing day-to-day care and support for young people within a residential setting. The role involves working closely with students to ensure they feel safe, supported, and valued. This includes assisting with personal care, managing challenging behaviours, and promoting independent living skills.

Residential Support Worker Responsibilities:

• Provide care and support to students in a residential setting.
• Assist with personal care and daily living tasks.
• Promote independence and encourage positive behaviour.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

Residential Support Worker Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children or young people in a residential setting.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviours.
• Relevant qualifications in social care, education, or a related field are desirable.
