Electrical Shift Engineer - 44k - DAYS ONLY - Didcot 

Our Client is looking for an Electrical Shift Engineer to work on a brand new contract win in Didcot. This commercial critical site requires a technical engineer to provide day to day support for the already thriving engineering team 

You will be working for one of the most well-known FM companies globally who are known for their training and generous benefits package. On offer is a salary of up to £44,000 with overtime available and some benefits including bonus, private healthcare etc. 

Day to Day Duties

  • Control Panels
  • Lighting
  • Emergency lighting tests
  • Single and Three phrase
  • AHU and FCU maintenance .
  • Small installation, Fault-finding,
  • Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel,
  • Power distribution)
  • Fire Alarm Test's
  • Pumps: replacement of pump shaft seals (to fix leaks), replacement of small Pumps.
  • General plumbing maintenance: etc.
  • Pressurisation units: service and repair of closed system pressurisation units.
  • HVAC plant
  • Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
  • Chillers - Re-set
  • Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, changing taps, seals etc
  • BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
  • UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings

Hours of work

12 hour days- 7am-7pm on a 4on 4off basis 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • City & Guilds Electrical Installation Level 3 Qualified (or recognised equivalent)
  • Good all round building services knowledge 
  • Ability to communicate well with the onsite client 
  • Steady and progressive work history
  • Experienced in work on large scale building services applications
