My client is seeking a Sales Support Specialist who will work within a regional team (EMEA & Asia) to support sales team members.
You will be supporting with providing ongoing process support to help build out documented sales playbooks, deliver centralised tasks and provide forecast analysis.
 
Kay Accountabilities

  • Develop overall process around sales & demand planning conversations.
  • Support documenting sales with processes and step-by-step guides.
  • Provide sales teams necessary data extracts when required in a clear format
  • Produce phasing guidance on anticipated shipments at forecast partner (customer) / item level.
  • Deliver GAP analysis sharing insights with sales leads & key account managers, highlighting risks & opportunities with sales business plans in comparison to budget (target) & demand plans.
  • Maintenance of Connect Forecast tool including system uploads.
  • Work cross-functionally with a commercial focus.
  • Creating PowerPoint presentations to concisely communicate insights to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Provide cover for direct line manager when necessary, providing ongoing support to provide structure around sales planning & internal communications.
  • Implement KPI measures tracking both, business plans & distribution expectations Vs actuals.
  • Maintain sales timetable across the region, aiding deadline management.
  • Maintain forecast partner (customer) list, including approvals.
  • Frequent review of system user licenses, ensuring sales team users are set-up as appropriate.
  • Set-up and document a process to conduct checks for shipments against inactive customers, communicating as necessary with commercial teams.
  • Undertake any initiatives and projects that reduce duplication, drive efficiency, and increase forecast accuracy.
  • Determine ways to focus on key customers & support development of sales tools and data views

 
Experience:

  • High level of attention to detail, with ability to identify inconsistencies.
  • Proven experience providing process improvement and insights to sales teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills, capable of creatively designing and delivering effecting GAP analysis.
  • Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Respond well to feedback.
  • Approachable character.
