Health & Safety Officer
Part time - 27 hours
Leicester
£35,000 per annum
Office based with some local travel
The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Officer, to join a well-established building services business based in Leicester. As the main point of contact for all health & safety for the business, the successful person will be a well-established professional within the sector.
Scope of the role;
- Advising all company employees on all HSE requirements, ensuring the company remains compliant.
- Continual awareness of changes in legislation and update company literature accordingly
- Develop and provide material for site leads and toolbox talks
- Carry out site health & safety inspections
- Accident investigation & reporting
- Carry out internal audits and ensure site is external audit ready
The person;
- Experienced as a health & safety officer
- Holds health & safety certification such as NEBOSH general certificate
- Strong communicator with the confidence to influence across all areas of the business
- Has a hands on approach to health and safety, to continue with the existing strong shop floor
- Holds a UK driving licence
