Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class 1 vehicles to transport goods across various routes.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all road safety regulations.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Secure loads effectively and check for accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, hours worked, and any incidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to provide excellent service.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license.
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Minimum of 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- Strong knowledge of UK road regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
